Your text never leaves your browser

diff.wtf runs entirely on your device. The text and files you compare are processed locally by a WebAssembly module — they are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, or logged. There is no server that could receive them. Closing the tab erases everything.

What we do collect

Anonymous, aggregate page analytics (page views, country, browser) with no cookies and no personal identifiers. We never see the content you diff.

Advertising

The free version shows ads served by third-party networks (Google AdSense, Carbon Ads). These networks may use cookies for ad personalization as described in their own policies; they have no access to your diff content. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Settings.
